Microblogging is the key to crypto's further adoption

We have to admit that not everyone is comfortable at writing long-form content. Many of us find joy and satisfaction in sharing short content in a similar fashion as Tweets. The advent of microblogging apps like Twitter creates a new way to socialize online and it is proving to be a top choice by many of us.

Who wouldn't?

In this day and age, we are constantly facing the dilemma of having not enough time on hand to do the things that we have to or want to. Time flies fast in the online social space. And in the case of the younger generation, the Gen Zs and Millenials have a shorter attention span. It's understandable since they were born in the digital age and being too active is a norm. It also applies to their social media activities.

The way they consume content is much faster and so long-form content is not something that they will indulge.

In my opinion, they are the age group that will churn engagement into the social blockchain space. The young & middle-aged professionals maybe the ones who are investing deeply in cryptocurrencies but the millennials are the ones breathing life into the social aspect of it.

It's not about the rewards

Here's a good case to explain my point.

I'm spending more time in Noise.Cash in the past 3 weeks and I'm really impressed with the interaction that I'm getting with other users. The users are commenting in a meaningful gesture and handing out $tips subsequently. There's definitely a good vibe being spread around. That's despite the very low reward and a very simple UI.

It's surprising that the users are not bothered by the pennies that they receive for their posts and comment.

Beyond rewards

In Noise.Cash, users are also looking for genuine feedback and interaction about the things they post about. In most instances, an exchange of valuable comments & replies is more rewarding than the monetary value that was tipped to it.

For this to take place, the user experience has to be taken into consideration. It has to be fast enough to maintain the momentum of the interaction of users.

While using the Noise web app, it feels like I'm having a chat with the other users because the notification reacts almost instantly. Tipping a post or comment feels natural as the action takes place around 1 sec or even faster than that.

I think that's basically it... fast and simple.
