Huge companies and institution have recently shown their interest for the crypto. Mastercard has followed the way and said that they will authorize people to pay in cryptocurrency in 2021. They probably don't want to miss the train after Paypal, Tesla and many others jumped in.
Indeed, the merchants will be able to activate an option in order to accept payments in cryptocurrency. This will be a massive step through a total adoption of cryptocurrency by the population.
