Lolli, the startup behind the popular browser extension that rewards users for purchases with Bitcoin (BTC) rebates, recently closed its second seed round, raising $3 million.
According to a press release provided to us, Pathfinder, the early-stage investment vehicle for Founders Fund, took the lead in the round that boasted a number of well-known investors.

Included in the list are Michelle Phan, Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures, Craft Ventures, Company Ventures, Adam Leber, Abe Burns, and Chapter One Ventures. Repeat investors include FJ Labs, Version One, Bain Capital Ventures, Digital Currency Group, Pir Granoff and Brian Sugar.
Lolli, which makes money by taking a commission on each successful rebate, is now integrated with more than 750 leading merchants, including Priceline and Best Buy. The browser extension currently offers as much as 30% back on select purchases with an average return of 7% for its users.
“We’re excited to continue accelerating the mission of Lolli, making bitcoin more accessible to all,” added Lolli co-founder and CEO Alex Adelman. “The team and I are creating the easiest way for people to earn and own bitcoin. We have an incredible syndicate of strategic investors that will help drive the adoption of Lolli and bitcoin forward.”
