Level 5: There Comes a Time… Illuvium

Indecisive, we’ve truly always been.

Whether to choose the egg, or whether to choose the hen…

We don’t care which came first, we only want to know which one will be more profitable.

It’s the hen, in case you’re wondering. See, the hen is the long term. The hen produces eggs, the eggs produce more hens, rinse and repeat… it’s not rocket science people. But, maybe it is?

The hen could be infertile. As could the egg.

Jokes set aside, we’ve been spending a lot of time narrowing down what the next big “hen” could be. We’re avid gamers here at HerretixxGaming, so we’ve been doing some reading on blockchain gaming, and let me be the first to tell you, we think we accomplished exactly what we sought out to do. We’ve stumbled across a true masterpiece.

Illuvium.

What a freaking score! We are absolutely ecstatic about this upcoming project, so much so, that we truly believe Illuvium will breed the next generation of gaming. Illuvium is an open-world adventure game built on the Etherium blockchain, and is inspired from titles like Pokemon and League of Legends Teamfight Tactics. You’ll be able to travel an open world and discover new deity-like creatures called Illuvials. You will be able to fight these creatures, as well as capture them with shards, much like Pokemon’s PokeBalls. There will be a city-builder mechanic for harvesting resources that you can use in game, implemented into the project as well. There will even be support for NFT’s, both in the creatures you acquire, and the land plots for your towns to trade and sell on the marketplace. (Don’t quote us on this, but we believe there will be a pvp aspect as well, but not 100% sure yet.)

The lead developer has teamed up with ex-devs from AAA companies like Ubisoft and Blizzard (both of which are two of out favorites, so we may be a bit biased) with a goal to create the first Triple-A crypto blockchain based game to date.

We’ve only dipped our toes in the water on this one, but to us, personally, the water feels absolutely magical. Between nostalgia from our childhood adventures through Pokemon, and the more modern-day game devs that we mentioned previously, this is sure to be on of gamers and content creators’ watchlists.

Now, we can empathize with the true, die-hard Pokemon fans and the connotation behind all of the other trial-and-error knockoffs of the brand, but we really want to emphasize the amount of transparency the devs have with the community, and the development of the project itself. We will link their website and their YouTube below, as well as their discord. The game is set to release sometime in 2022 from what we know, but there are a number of options we’re looking into for early investing/gains.

With that being said, we don’t have enough information to truly get into detail about the project, but over the next few weeks we’ll be releasing more articles on the subject. So if this sounds like something that might tickle your pickle, be sure to give us a follow, like and comment for more!
