A warm welcome to another Let’s Simplify Things! post!
In this post let us have a look at what has happened since my last post about Brave browser.
For anyone that hasn’t read my post about BRAVE browser, I would like to first of all make it clear that:
First, I have been using it in various forms and machines for more than a year now.
Second, I like, use and recommend the Brave browser because apart from the rewards issue it is a great product.
And third, I have many times contacted the support of Brave about the issues with the rewards I receive.
Actually almost every month I had to get in touch with them about the amount I received!
After their latest mega issue and the tsunami of complaints, you can read about all that at my last post, they have once again .. hmmm how to put politely… made another mess!
So what happened?
Well... after the mess of last month they promised an extra payment that they did do on the 20th of September.
But let us go a bit before that, as in order to understand the current issue, one has to know what has happened last month.
So let us start from there…
As you can see at the following screen shot of my account I was expecting to receive about 32 BAT on the 6th of September from which I receive a little above 7 BAT.
At the same time I was left with about 25BAT pending payment, as you can see on the following screenshot.
Notice also that the amount they paid as a compensation is less than the pending amount, as you can see at this screenshot.
That was the case until the last time I checked it.
That was a few days before the expected payment.
Notice that the payment they made on the 20th of October was made as compensation and not as paying the remaining amount!
And that the pending amount was unchanged after the compensation payment!
So, as all other users, I was expecting to receive the 25 and something BAT plus the amount of BAT accumulated during the month!
On my surprise thought I only received 2 and something BAT, as you can see on the following screenshot.
I really thought that after last months mess, they would have learned their lesson and fixed things.
Unfortunately their actions say otherwise!
I’m sick and tired of having every month to get in touch with them about the payout!
The only thing I want to say to them, this time via this post is, please stop ruining a great product!
You are not stupid!
It is a simple counter that you have screwed up for no apparent reason!
You know how many ads have been pushed to a user!
The user knows how many ads have been shown!
There is no need for estimates and all the other, excuse my language, crap you have been giving to everyone as an excuse for not showing the correct number.
It is as simple as adding up the ads and multiplying the number with the amount of BAT per advertisement!
Don't you see that all these inconsistency and luck of transparency is leaving room for people to start thinking you are manipulating the rewards?
I don't believe you do!
But one can easily claim so, especially with your track record on the matter....
I really hope my voice, along I’m sure of many more, will be finally heard!
