Kraken, a San Francisco-based crypto exchange, continues to add features to its recently launched mobile trading app. According to a recent blog post, Kraken has added dark mode to its iOS and Android apps, allowing traders to easily toggle between modes.
Users whose phones are already configured for dark mode will automatically have the new color scheme enabled. Other options include ‘Classic’ and ‘Light’ custom themes.
Version 1.1 also brings numerous design improvements to the app and direct links to other Kraken products, including its OTC desk, futures app and Cryptowatch advanced charting tools.
This news comes several days after Kraken acquired one of the most recognized OTC desks in crypto, Circle Trade, for an undisclosed amount.
“We have known and admired Jesse and his team at Kraken for many years, and we have every confidence and expectation that Circle Trade customers and partners will continue to find best-in-class OTC liquidity service and responsiveness through Kraken going forward,” stated Circle co-founders Sean Neville and Jeremy Allaire at the time. “Circle Trade represents an enormous success for the industry as well as for Circle, and we’re excited to see Kraken grow it further.”
