Binance crypto exchange official website, Binance.com, is currently not operating according to a tweet by the crypto exchange boss, Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao.

Binance.com is experiencing a delay at the moment as the domain system reported failure earlier in the day. According to a tweet sent out on April 15 by CZ Binance, the exchange Domain Name Service (DNS) is facing troubles leading to the malfunction of the world’s largest crypto exchange official website, Binance.com.

CZ further assured the traders and users that the funds remain #SAFU with the development team working to revive the DNS.

Binance.com gains new domain

Following the issues on the exchange DNS service, the official website domain has been switched temporarily to “Binancezh.com.” The new domain service adds a “zh” between Binance and .com. The new domain can be accessed by users globally as the original website remains in the works.

CZ further stated the new website may be slower at the time being but urges the users that the platform will work just fine similar to the old platform.

Time to launch an Ethereum Naming Service?

Following the failure of the DNS service, some users suggested that the exchange should move to the newly launched Ethereum Naming Service (ENS). This is a decentralized naming service on the Ethereum network offering distributed website naming on the blockchain.

The quick response from the exchange following the DNS issue shows why it remains at the top of the crypto industry. Notwithstanding the exchange is leading the crypto community in the battle against the Corona Virus pandemic launching the #CryptoAgainstCOVID campaign, which has raised over $2 million dollars for supplies against the virus.
