All over Youtube there are these fucking shills repeating the "news" of JPMorgan predicting a $146,000 BTC. I'm so tired of these fucking Johnny Noobs. They know nothing about this space, yet somehow they are able to influence hundreds of thousands of people.
You guys should know that JPMorgan is the last entity anyone should be listening to about bitcoin. JPMorgan was famously a BTC bear before they decided to buy. They bought under the table, and now they are coming out with positive reports to pump their own bags. Fools like Crypto Love fool their foolish followers into thinking that bitcoin is rising BECAUSE these tradfi institutions are putting out these reports, when it's the exact opposite. The tradfi reports are hopelessly behind the curve. Bitcoin set its path from its inception, and the credit belongs to the noble investors and developers of 2011-2016.
If you're going to report on JPMorgan, then report on how bad they are for crypto. They do not get to insert themselves into the narrative. Who cares what Citibank says or JPMorgan says? THIS IS NOT NEWS.
This is insidious, not just wrong. If you fucking shills allow credit for bitcoin's rise to be in any way attributed to scammy banks like JPMorgan, then noobs will give their power to those institutions and gloss over the true power of bitcoin, the sovereignty. They will give their financial sovereignty to the very entities that were usurping it before. They will again fall victim to fees, low interest rates, housing crises, racist loan policies, communities filled with drugs that JPMorgan launders money for, and whatever else JPMorgan feels like using bitcoin to do.
These shills are the kinds of fucking little shits that don't care if their users buy their BTC from Paypal. These kinds of people should not be allowed to speak to hundreds of thousands of subscribers without pushback. You have every right to be stupid, but not ignorant. At least listening to a true voice, you'll know what JPMorgan is trying to do and what you can do if you truly understand crypto.
Anybody else from Youtube who sees this — get your shit right. Do not allow reports from JPMorgan or any other bank that was trying to destroy crypto masquerade as news to pay attention to. The entire POINT of bitcoin is to remove these middlemen from the financial process. If they are allowed to insert themselves culturally, it is only a matter of time before they re-insert themselves politically and financially. And do you know what happens then? We all lose — AGAIN.
