The controversial businessman and creator of the eponymous antivirus "McAfee" is behind a new anonymous phone service: “The Ghost Cell Phone Data”.
The life of John McAfee and his multiple escapades have often got the better of an entrepreneur with a strong character.
The former candidate for the American presidential elections is at the origin of a new project with whimsical allures, which he declines in his own words like:
“The first 4G data service making network connections untraceable”.
After a beta version released on July 3, the service will be available to the general public in September.
Available in nearly 35 countries, “The Ghost Cell Phone Data” promises its users to be connected to the 4G network in an “invisible” way by relying on a multitude of anonymous servers requiring no physical SIM card.
This new service is part of a large ecosystem that John McAfee strives to promote within his Ghost brand, including a cryptocurrency and an exchange platform.
Despite his undeniable entrepreneurial talent, John McAfee's reputation has sparked controversy and suspicion, even massive rejection from the crypto community. The position of the cryptosphere could be decisive in the quest for a substantial network effect.
Engaged in an endless exile, he will surely be the privileged beneficiary of this new service. Hopefully for him that he will succeed in erasing the resounding failure of his Brain Wallet project.
