I could take or leave Jim Cramer once I discovered bitcoin. Like all of us, I listened to him back in the day on CNBC. He was, and still is, the guy who gets you excited about investing. Some people have had good experiences with him; some bad. That's to be expected with an audience of his size. As you mature in your investing, you naturally start to DYOR and move away from listening to anyone.
But today, Cramer regained my respect as someone to listen to. Why? Because Cramer went on Pomp's podcast and admitted that Cramer wasn't the smartest person in the room. Here's the video if you want to watch.

He also said he made a lot of money following Pomp's advice and putting $500k into bitcoin.
Cramer's attitude is one that I wish to take on in my entire life, not just my financial one. He not only admitted that Pomp was the superior intellect in bitcoin, but thanked him for all the money he made.
And of course, Cramer's conversation with Pomp is going to bring bitcoin over with many Boomers. He actually changed his recommendation about gold on the show, saying that investors should split their 10% gold holdings into 5% gold and 5% bitcoin. I'd hate to be Peter Schiff right now.
Good news all around. Crypto is now no longer a contrarian asset. It's a part of the mainstream.
