As most of crypto enthousiasts, you may think that XRP is a shitcoin. What crime has committed Ripple to deserve this?
First of all, it is a relatively centralized coin. Is it the only one? No, for sure, but they do not even hide it, Ripple company is quite visible. Therefore, buying XRP is like making a deal with the evil.
Then, XRP strategy is mostly focused on traditional banks, i.e. centralized finance... Centralized again, that's really the evil in cryptos.
And what are they doing now? They want to go into DeFi with Flare... A centralized platform going into decentralized finance. Not really popular... Except when there is an airdrop of course... In that case they do not stink anymore... Well, until the snapshot. Now they are considered as a shitcoin again, not as cool as Ethereum, right? Well, until they really start their DeFi Flare network with fees much lower than on Ethereum...
