Dear readers it is a really long time i do not write something here and today i came with a really short article about Async.art a platform which i like with so many amazing artists and artworks. Yes it's just another NFT art platform but... with a twist!
What is Async.art? and what is Async art movement?
Async.art is a site and a Dapp (you know decentralised app that can be used in some crypto-wallets like dapper)
where to upload,buy and sell a unique type of digital art called async art.
Async art is a form of programmable art where an opera can be splitted in multiple layers and every layer can be registered on the ethereum block-chain as an indipendent Non Fungible Token, like an unique piece of art by itself,But these pieces still remains linked
and visible on the whole opera and every owner of a layer can decide if that part of the main artwork is visible or not
and can program the position,orientation,apply effects on it,and much more.
Async art is also a spontanuous art movement born on the ethereum block-chain the main objective of that movement is to promote a kind of art that is ever-changing influenced by it's owners or data streams like stock market.
Who is back Async art?
Async art is a project of Asynchronous Art inc (Copyright 2020) a young corporation based in San Francisco with (in my opinion) an amazing idea of what an ever evolving art should be.
How it works?
Async.art works just like other art markets you just have to divide your artwork in layers and export these layers as png images
then you can upload your work with the platform uploader called AsyncCanvas that in an easy guided way will let you
upload and modify each layer and mint the final result to the ethereum block-chain,publishing the piece on the platform too.
When is born?
It's still a fresh project born in Feburary 2020 just a year ago.
Why this project is born?
Async Art is born by a simple question: It's founders where just asking themselves 'what does art look like when it can be programmed?' From that simple question a new horizon was opened up and a successiful platform that lets artists from all around the world to express their talent like never before.
Why async art is different from traditional crypto-art?
Because it is not static and can change with the world around it,with the decision of it's owners but i ways ruled by the artist
of the master (the whole artwork from the artist) opera.
What i think about this?
I think it is a wonderful idea that have some kind of grasp of the future in it but i also think that not every artist
nor every collectionist is ready for that new way of live fruition of the art, maybe because the appearance of an artwork
is like the identity of it and artists as well as collectionists may fall in love with one state of that piece of art a time.
Just my opinion.
In reality,numbers are strong with this project, many artists and collectors are selling,collecting and buying actively in a market already worth 1M$.
What artworks i liked?
The gallery section of the site is really delightful for the eyes and i recommend everyone to take a visit there
I liked many pieces but some of them get more of my attention like the colorful Th3N3twork from CIVIC:

Who can sell art there ? and How?
Anyone can request to be accepted as an artist but they do not accept anyone due to the large number of listing requests they recive and of course also to select the best artists for their gallery.
Once white-listed as an artist they will send an email to advise that you are in.
Then the process of uploading and registering the artwork is simple and stright-forward thanks to their upload tool.
