Ideas are many, actions few - Was Hive a better choice?

Hive as you all know indicates the Beehive, generally speaking. When we moved over from steemit, in the hope of building 'hives', we had no idea of whether this fork would be successful, and 'we' indicates people like me who are included in the general sector of Hive. Those who are not developers or coders or tech-savvy or large stakeholders.

A few months have passed and the advent of the COVID pandemic has sure seen many people becoming more active on Hive.

Has the price of Hive gone up and justified our investment of time and money?

If you ask me, I write because it is my passion to write and also interact. The 'earnings' part is only the icing on the cake.

It is true that I want to eat my cake too but I know it will take time to bake.

I have baked cakes and know that if we take it out of the oven before being baked properly, the cake will have seemed to rise but it will soon fall flat.

The same is the case with all projects. We should give time and be patient.

Meanwhile, there are many ideas and projects but it is not taking shape and giving good results.

What should we do?

We should give importance to projects that can make Hive shoot up in visibility and price.

Apps that can take us beyond the common blogging site and that which can deliver more than blogging is what we need right now.

Decentralized versions of apps that are available to people for a price right now like the matrimonial websites, trade sites, seed banks for farmers. The sky is the limit.

We need to think hard about the ways on how to popularise Hive among the developers in the world right now rather than hope it will work out somehow in the next twenty years.

Trust me, that may not even materialize.

Twenty years before, I did not imagine myself typing on a keyboard and interacting with lots of people around the world. If technology could change so fast, ten years from now, it will shoot up and the present may become obsolete.

The given moment is now. If you have an idea, work on it to raise the price of Hive. Otherwise, just blog on what you had for breakfast today or visited some fancy restaurant yesterday.
