I decided to spend today's walk observing mainly trees. Of course, I didn't miss my bird feeder, and left them some candy.

Dzisiejszy spacer postanowilem poswiecic obserwacji glownie drzew. Oczywiscie nie ominalem mojego stanowiska dokarmiania ptakow, i zostawilem im troche lakoci.

The end of November, which is exceptionally warm, directed me to the trees where arboreal fungi should appear. And of course I was not mistaken, I found the first trees infested with fungus.

Okres konca listopada, ktory jest wyjatkowo cieply nakierowal mnie na drzewa, gdzie powinny pojawiac sie grzyby nadrzewne. I oczywiscie nie pomylilem sie, znalazlem pierwsze drzewa opanowane przez grzyby.

When the leaves fall from the trees, tree parasites, evergreens, i.e. mistletoe, appear. Normally, in autumn or summer, it is invisible, because it is effectively masked by the leaves of the tree. But when they fall, the evergreen mistletoe leaves appear on the trees.

Gdy liscie z drzew opadna pojawiaja sie pasozyty drzew, wiecznie zielone, czyli jemiola. Normalnie, jesienia, czy latem jest niewidoczna, bo skutecznie zamaskowana liscmi drzewa. Ale gdy te opadna na drzewach widnieja wiecznie zielone liscie jemioly.
