A warm welcome to another Let’s Simplify Things! post!

In this post let us have a look at how you build up trust with your clients via the way you communicate with them.

This post was inspired by an email I received from Celsius that made me think of how a company should communicate with its clients!

It also had me compare it with how CRED has been communicating with it’s clients…

As you can see from their email they tick all the right boxes on a perfect email.

They begin their email by being reassuring that everything is fine.

Of course one would argue that everyone can claim that without being so?

But here comes the important parts of their email!

They are fully transparent of what has happened.

They give a detailed description of the issue and the measures they have taken to fix it.

They also back their claim with proof, in this occasion their communication with a third company that provides a certain service to them.

They also try to be as specific as they can, avoiding being vague as most other companies tend to do.

You notice that especially when it comes to the time needed to fix the issue.

At the end they make clear their commitment to keep everyone well informed and to transparency.

Now if you compare it for example with how CRED has been communicating with its clients you can easily see the difference and what I’m talking about!

For obvious reasons I will not go into detail on how CRED has been communicating, you can have a look at one of their emails, the differences are easy to spot!

If you are one of the lucky ones that haven’t received an email from them, you can easily find it by doing a search on Google.

And for myself to be transparent with you…

I’m one of the lucky ones that have withdrawn my funds from CRED since July.

So, although I got an email from CRED, I’m not on the list of the affected investors!

So to summarise it and simplify it, the magic recipe to create trust with your clients via the way you communicate with them is….

By being honest, transparent, willing to acknowledge an issue and by providing all the available information.

At the end of the day it is not that complicated!

I really can not understand why some try to overcomplicate things, that path only leads to a disaster!
