How I Earn Moons

If you click on my article, I’m sure you don’t need me to explain what moons are. But for the uninitiated, there is this subreddit called Cryptocurrency that rewards users moons for the upvotes they receive on their comments.

Yes, these moons can eventually be traded for fiat currency. Which is why regular users who patronize r/Cryptocurrency self-deprecatingly classify their activity there as shit-posting. It seems that with the advent of moons, the general quality of posting has deteriorated as people paraphrase what other posters have typed, thus causing an echo chamber effect. Intellectual discourse seems to be on the wane.

Fortunately or unfortunately, I recently downloaded Reddit, so I don’t know how it was like, pre-Moons era. I’m not looking to make a killing with my comments but since the option is there, I don’t mind giving it a shot so that I can experience how long it will take me to monetise my moons.

You know, it’s difficult to get your comment noticed because so many people are commenting, so your lone reply gets lost in this avalanche of remarks. So one way that worked for me was that I would ask a question in the Daily Discussion thread and attempt to attract responses. Some questions would invite more responses than others, but regardless of the quantity, I would surely learn something about how others are navigating the crypto space. For instance, I learnt that Coinspot is an exchange used by Australians. Well, this nugget of information will help me break the ice with Australians whom I may interact with in future.

And you would not have seen this coming, but there is actually a faucet for ! Yup, you can just input your Vault address and have tiny bits of moons delivered straight to your Vault account. From my experience using it so far, it pays out once every day, so it could be an excellent way to supplement your shit posting, erhm well-measured intellectual posturing, I mean.
