It has been now two day that I have been using noise.cash and I am quite impressed by it.
Noise.cash is a twitter like service that embedds the option to tip pings (the equivelent of tweets) with bitcoin cash.
Right now noise.cash is giving a very small amount of bch – a few cents – to users, which they can use to tip other users. There also the option to use owns own bitcoin cash for tipping.
The use of the service is easy and bare bones, but new features are added daily.
When it comes to content things reminded me of the days when steemit first became popular.
Spammers unfortunately have found their way and post random stuff, ‘life quotes’ and even straight begging. Fortunately there are blocking options.
If one weeds out the nonsense there is some crypto related content, which one can subscribe. I have already found some users from PUBLISH0X there. Most crypto interested noise.cash users seem to have arrived from read.cash, so if you blog there you might already know some people.
I won’t go into detail as I am a new user and still learning the ropes, but I would recommend Publish0x users to take a look.
The bitcoin cash tips are on the house for now which will help new users to get to know this new type of social media. Alternatives as peepeth require users to deposit cryptocurrency right from the beginning which can be discouraging for non experienced users.
In contrast to twitter, there doesn’t seem to be a character limitation. In addition to text, links and pictures can also be posted.
What i like most about noise.cash is its minimalistic design, which stand in contrast to the often cluttered look of twitter.
