South Korea’s financial regulator unveiled a detailed set of regulations under which privacy coins will be banned, but also an ‘arbitrary’ ruling may force the crypto exchanges there to close. Meanwhile, FXCoin, SBI and others will work together on a cryptoasset remittance platform. And while ex-Catalan president Carles Puigdemont used bitcoin to pay for escape to Belgium, South Korean police arrested ‘dozens’ of people in an alleged ETH scam. Meanwhile, PayPal’s CEO said that their users are eager for crypto.
