There are a few bigger banking exchanges using crypto assets and trading during the last few years, that offers the opportunity to receive a personal debit card for daily usage. There is CRYPTO.COM or Nexo as examples. But did you know about Uphold’s debit card plan?
Well, a few months ago I saw this announce in Uphold's web site announcing the new plan to give their interested members a new debit card and use their assets during daily basis like a common debit card.
What is so special about Uphold’s debit card?
You can practically choose the available asset you want in your wallet. There are no fees. Because of its collaboration with Mastercard, it should be accepted by millions of merchants and ATM’s worldwide in more than 180 countries, wit zero transaction fees for abroad purchases in comparation to actual bank fees. And there are a crypto back of 2% and 1% cash back in USD for every crypto purchase.
Sounds good, isn’t it?
It should be already available in the US with some exceptions for some states. In Europe the launch is planned this summer and in Latin America in autumn. The interested persons can join a wait list before the launch is planned. Now there are more than 44'000 persons in total joining the wait list. If you share this interesting feature with other friends, maybe you can climb a little the ranking and get the card earlier... ;)
I hope this worldwide out of ordinary situation doesn’t delay the launch too much but in any case, Uphold tell us, that is worth to wait for it!
