That dumb shit could also be used as a bridge to onramp non-fungibility into bitcoin. If regulators can "mark" bitcoin as good or bad, they can ban anonymous or non-custodial wallets from participating in physical world finance. You'll be forced to register yourself to the same governments who made crypto necessary in the first place.
So be sophisticated enough to hold two viewpoints in your head at the same time. Saylor is good for the space, but this bullshit mining council is not. Nobody cares if Saylor is convincing Musk to come back into the fold. Bitcoin doesn't need Saylor, Musk, Soros, or any of these bigwigs. If they want to play ball with us, fine. But they don't get to come late to the party and run shit. I bought bitcoin years before Michael Saylor. And he gets to dictate mining council bullshit to me? No bueno, bitch.
