At the beginning of this year I calculated my HIVE POWER projection taking into account the COMPOUND INTEREST formula, when plotting the results at the end of each year on a graph I was totally surprised seeing the effect that compound interest had over time, if you were a little meticulous with your investment plan of course.
Although HIVE POWER only yields 3.10% per year, I have to say that it is not true for the person who is active on the platform since if you do daily contributions to your staked HIVE, I had to simulate that graph taking into account also those, and so, the result was the following:
As you can see, the simulation predicted reaching 200,000 HP in just 6 years departing 12 months ago.
This served as the basis for organizing the annual investment plan and is by which I am currently governed.
This is fine if we assume that we will never enjoy our HIVE to the end, and that is not my reality.
In bullish times, I accumulate much more HBD than HIVE POWER or even sell my HIVE for BTC or other exciting projects, with which, in reality, this projection could have downward or upward deviations depending on the market situation.
Likewise, at the beginning of the year the target set for the end of 2022 was 18000 HP, a value that I comfortably reached a few days ago... even so, I continue to do POWER UP every HAPPY FRIDAY since the HIVE price is at a discount today with what more than selling it, I prefer to BUY it. If everything continues like this, I think I will reach 18300 HP on December 31...
WHAT IS MY GOAL FOR 2023...
Knowing how last year has gone, I have managed to accumulate an average of 347 HP per month, I think that with a bit of luck I can maintain this figure or even improve it...however, everything will depend on the MARKET, if the pre-halving shows the end of the bear market, then I may reserve some of my HIVE for possible profit taking.
If, let's say that, I am able to maintain these 347 HP on average each month, my goal by the end of 2023 would be 22464 HP
But if we consider the projection of my simulation of COMPOUND INTEREST with DAILY CONTRIBUTIONS, explained above, the target for the end of next year should be 23450 HP.
NEITHER ONE NOR THE OTHER
I like to round the targets, basically because everything looks cleaner. We are going to stay with something in between, 23000 HP, that is my goal by the end of 2023, which represents "saving" 391 HP per month.
Will I be able to reach it?
As always, everything will depend on the senyor market...
