Crypto immortality.

Although the majority of cryptocurrencies and tokens that are created have a limited number, and even as they are used they are "burned" and therefore, decreasing their quantity, possibly some of them exist forever.

This would be possible simply as long as a single unit remains immovable (for example in a lost wallet) There is even the example of projects that developed and launched coins or tokens, which once in the hands of users turned out to be a failure or a scam, with the result of coins that will exist forever but apparently have no way out.

Banning them (their creation or use) would not mean destroying them or making them disappear, they would simply go to the black market like drugs for example.

I would dare to say that even if there were a scenario in which we could not have the technology, or the internet, cold wallets or bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies that have been "physically created" would perpetuate the existence of cryptocurrencies.

Surely the day will come before we know who or what Satoshi Nakamoto was before we see the cryptocurrencies disappear.
