3 years before the same day I joined Steem Hive Blockchain and was trying really hard to understand the blockchain concepts. The early days were very funny. I couldn't figure out anything here and I started reading the FAQ page which is where I got most of the clarity.
I reached Steem by looking for a content writing platform that pays for writing articles. Before this, I was having a few clients for the content writing on Upwork and Freelancer and my contacts over there ended. I was looking for an alternative and then found this platform. But I almost spent a month trying to understand how this works. I was also pretty new to the Blockchain world as well. Like everyone else my focus was also to understand how I can convert my Steem earnings to BTC. Then later I understood the potential of the platform and started investing.
I invested in Steem when the price was 5$ and started investing a little from my real world then on. In the last 3 years, I did not watch the price touch moon or at least go above a decent value. But we still stick together here looking for good opportunities. Today at least we have some diversified income opportunities that are built on Hive. Especially the Hive Games that are running either directly on Hive or on the sidechain.
It has been a wonderful journey in the last 3 years. Especially in terms of learning apart from blogging. I did not start blogging immediately after I joined the platform. It took me almost a month to start blogging. I didn't even know what to write and later in the last 2 years, I have been trying hard to write at least a minimum of one article per day.
Apart from the blogging experience, my coding experience has improved a lot. I was able to understand most of the blockchain concepts and I have also grown to create dApps and tools on top of Hive and Hive Engine. While doing so I have also changed my sleeping patterns and other routines that I used to have. From this year onwards, I'm planning to get back to my routine of sleeping early and waking up early.
Hive currently has lots of open opportunities for earning. The focus on BTC is very strong right now and it wouldn't take much time to focus on the altcoins and when it happens, Hive will be in a good position to grow better. We are all optimistic about that and our journey will continue in that direction.
I would like to thank every individual who has been supporting me on this journey. I'm not going to tag anyone because there are so many people who have been very important to me in my journey this far and I fear missing to tag someone. In addition to that, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all the communities that have been very supportive of me in this journey.
Especially in the last one year, the journey on Leofinance was indeed a great experience. I wish to see a drastic growth in the same in the years to come. With lots of hope, I'm going to step into a new year.
