Charged Particles kicked off our launch with one of the biggest parties the Metaverse has seen yet has seen yet, with some 2,000 attendees at our Charged Particles Art Gallery on 17-Feb.
We’re live, and we’re only just getting started. More features, more airdrops, more events and a LOT more interest-ing NFTs.
Some Platform Stats since LAUNCH
Gas prices have been consistently pretty wretched since our launch. Despite the high gas prices, here are some platform stats since launch:
- 168 “Protons” or NFTs Minted on Charged Particles and 73 have been sold, with ~$215,000 in Sales for Artists on the platform.
- >$15,000 has been “Energized” and deposited inside of NFTs, generating $100’s in interest for the NFT holders.
- >300 ETH (~$450K) Raised from LEPTON Sales
We’re quickly iterating and adding key features to our DApp, while keeping focused on building a community interested in developing the overall protocol and really unlocking more features with the (very hot) NFT industry.
We’ve also just announced the artist lineup for our next event.

DApp: Next Features
The UI at app.charged.fi/go has been simplified for ease of use.
At the PROTOCOL level, we have A LOT more features that we cannot wait to start adding.
Some key features being added over the coming weeks:
Ability to Energize (and deposit) into your NFT ANY ERC-20 Token (e.g. Social Tokens, LP Tokens, etc.).
This is a key feature. If you’re looking to engage your community with a custom NFT with your tokens locked inside. Let us know. Happy to collaborate and believe this is a great way to engage your community in an innovative way — and also ride the NFT hype wave a bit.
Ability to Energize (and deposit) into your NFT other NFTs (ERC-721)
Deposit a NFT inside of your NFT. Timelock that NFT? Lots of possibilities here and a key function of the LEPTON NFT — a “yield multiplier” NFT that needs to be deposited into the NFT you’re using to yield farm once those programs are live!
Integration with Compound Finance
Allowing for programmable interest generated by Compound, similar to the integration we have already with Aave’s aTokens. Interested in seeing integrations with other yield sources? Please let us know!
White-listing additional minting platforms
We’ve been voting on this in our discord for weeks. Have a platform (e.g. OpenSea, Rariable, Mintable) that you’d like to see listed? This allows you to take the NFTs you’ve created on these platforms and energize them using the Charged Particles Protocol and make them more interest-ing.
In addition to these key features, we’re actively investigating layer 2 solutions (don’t worry!), revamping a number of improvements for the marketplace and planning the next DApp on top of the Charged Particles Protocol.
A New Metaverse Event — Zero Gravity
Featuring an amazing second wave of featured artists will be debuting their work at our second Metaverse event in collaboration with Token Smart.
The event will feature 40+ pieces of unique NFTs, incentives to earn CHARGE tokens, POAPs, musical performances from IMT, and more — all in a brand new Charged Particles gallery by Richard Dixon.

We’ll be featuring individual pieces several times a week and a very special front page spotlight to a handful of selected artists every few weeks.
