Everyone who knows me knows that I am poised for the bubble to burst or in crypto-speak for the next major correction. Over the last few weeks since moving a significant amount of my holdings to StableCoin I have done very little except just add in my staking and Celsius rewards and more recently I have been very engaged on Noise:Cash
I did however achieve some portfolio growth over the weekend using my favourite strategy of DAI Marginal Pairing and got something out of the increased acceleration in the growth of BitCoin.
However I want to go back to an achievement that I made earlier in the month where I utilised a strategy that I developed very early on. I posted on this very early in my PUBLISH0X life and with few followers it got very little attention so it is worthy of a revisit.
So what happened?
As is my norm nowadays I invested 200 DAI (or as close as I could make). My target was Yearn Finance and initially it held just below profitability, but then it plummeted from a nominal value of ?146 to ?122 or a loss of $16. It was time to pull out of the bag my Investment Halving (follow the link to see the original article) strategy which is designed to mitigate the losses and enable a return to faster profitability. Do not confuse this with BitCoin Halving which is another matter altogether
To do this I simply converted another 200 DAI to Yearn Finance and waited.
(Very Important I got these through existing funds I did not add new funds. THIS IS NOT THE SAME AS SPREAD BETTING or DOUBLING UP WHEN GAMBLING)
So now I had achieved two things. I had doubled the amount of DAI invested, but had significantly reduced the profitability threshold.
400 DAI Invested
Originally ?146 value of Yearn to break even on 200 DAI
With an added 200 DAI I now required ?268 value of Yearn to break even on 400 DAI
This was equivalent to ?134 per 200 DAI instead of the original ?146 - in terms of DAI this is a significant amount.
Then DAI stopped dying and was resurrected!
I watched it surge in line with the rest of the market and achieved a return when finally reconverting of 441 DAI (+41 DAI / >10%)

The point is that in the early days of posting on here I shared a number of strategies and although recent articles seem to suggest that I have become a bit of a one trick pony this is far from the truth.
