Leading up to the start of Bitcoin 2021 in Miami, Cardano creator Charles Hoskinson shared his vision of ADA and blockchain technology to over 500 attendees at the Miami Meetup event.
Bitcoin 2021 is anticipated to be the largest Cryptocurreny event ever. Miami is no stranger to playing host to the brightest minds in the industry as well as the growing number of retail investors and technology enthusiasts looking to stay up to date with this growing industry. It was in Miami in 2014 that Ethereum was introduced to the world at the North American Bitcoin Conference.
Hoskinson, creator of Cardano and co-founder of Ethereum, spent several hours taking questions at the Cardano networking event. The energy at the event was palpable and many overhead conversations seemed to focus on the upcoming Alonzo updates that will bring smart contracts to the growing ecosystem and what impact this will bring. Rather than investments and the tokenomics of ADA, the overall theme that was played out was one of rebellion against legacy systems. Miami should be in for a fun week.
