Celer Network (CELR), a second-layer scaling platform that enables fast, easy and secure off-chain transactions for Ethereum, announced this week that it has launched CelerX, a mobile esports app with a variety of skill-based games, for iOS.
According to the announcement, iPhone users can now compete in games on CelerX for real prizes in CELR, Dai (DAI), and Ether (ETH). The app includes various game types like solo, turn-based and real-time battle games. Game winners instantly receive prize payouts in the CelerX wallet, which can be accessed immediately.
Notably, there are zero gas fees to play the games, further reducing the barrier to entry for mainstream gamers.
To commemorate the launch of the iOS app, Celer Network is currently planning a $10,000 giveaway with more details to be released at a later time.
