Casa introduced a privacy-oriented Bitcoin wallet for beginners

Casa has released a new Bitcoin wallet that does not require users to provide personal information other than email and a name or pseudonym.

According to the statement, the application does not track geolocation, does not transmit data and does not conduct third-party analytics.

By default, Casa Wallet does not require the seed phrase needed to regain access to the wallet. Instead, a backup of the user's private key is distributed between Casa and the cloud services of the respective OS vendors (Apple and Google). Only the user has access to it through two-factor authentication.

The application also has the function of periodically checking the health of the key without the need for a transaction.

The company said that the goal was to create an easy-to-use wallet to securely store small amounts in bitcoin. It is assumed that an application oriented to beginner bitcoiners is suitable for experienced users as well.

Recall that last year, Casa introduced the Casa Covenant service, which allows you to transfer bitcoins to the heirs of their owner.
