Cardano becomes the most decentralized network
A recent report shows that 69% of Cardano ADA has been staked making it THE most decentralized network! Recall the Shelly Main-net launched July '20. They switched from the Byron address scheme to the Shelly address scheme and a myriad of other improvements!
Whose in first Place? Caradno with 69% staked or $5.77B locked up via staking
Well then, who is in second place? Polkadot w/ 61% staked.
Third place belongs to Synthetix Network with 75% staked, and follows Ethereum with 2% staked and Tezos has nearly 79%. As you can see its based upon market value not % staked.
How much has Caradno (ADA) has been staked? The fluid totals for the article were 21.8BN ADA coins are staked. It makes nearly 70% of all coins that are in circulation. In USD value, it is 5.77BN. Making it a very secure network at this point in time.
If a hacker had enough ADA - how much would that be? They would only need at least $2.88BN ADA coins in order to commit the 51% attack. With nearly 70% staked that would be impossible.
Summary - I wish more sites would run on Cardano, perhaps Uniswap will cutover and lower some of their fees? Well that would be magical wouldn't it?
