I highly doubt it.
To turn 100 USD into One Million Dollars you need 10,000x gain or for every dollar, you put in it needs to reward you win 10,000 dollars! Right now Bitcoin is valued roughly at 9,500 USD but for the sake of making things simpler, I am going to round up to 10,000 USD. For 100 USD investment to make you a millionaire one BTC will need to become worth 100,000,000 USD!!!
So multiply 100,000,000 times 21,000,000 equals 2,100,000,000,000,000 and that is the market cap Bitcoin would have to reach. According to this article: How much money is in the world? there is about 1.2 Quadrillion dollars in the whole world economy. So Bitcoin would usage have to be bigger than the whole global market!
So no 100 USD of Bitcoin won't make you a millionaire unless:
- Hyperinflation of USD sets in.
- The world economy grows significantly.
- And Bitcoin still must grow like wildfire.
Even if all three of these things happen you won’t feel like a millionaire. This is only likely to happen if the dollar plunges in value.
This doesn't mean Bitcoin is not a wonderful opportunity but to have 10,000x gain you needed to buy BTC when it was under one dollar. You missed the boat.
