As foreseen in my previous article on pumping altcoins, BINANCE Coin BNB has pumped in the last 24 hours and is currently above $270:
- BNB has increased by 275% in the last 30 days and by 1515% in the last 12 months
- It is currently the coin #4 in market cap, #3 without the stablecoin USDT, which means that it is now the #2 altcoin
- BNB market cap is currently $42 billion which corresponds to 20% of ETH market cap ($210 billion) - the next one is Cardano ADA at $37 million
You may think this market cap is too much. It corresponds to the market cap of Align Technology on NASDAQ... Do you know this company?
Why has BNB surged again?
I see two reasons:
- Bitcoin and most of the altcoins have surged in the last 24 hours
- Binance has launched a new project on their launchpad called ALICE
- The BSC is still very attractive for farming e.g. on Pancakeswap, Autofarm
How far can it go?
BNB might correct shortly. However, the BSC will continue to be used for long, due to low fees, what will pump it higher. Only the Ethereum EIP update expected in July can really slow down the BSC and BNB expansion - however, it has yet to be done...
The next steps for BNB are:
- To hit again $300 and consolidate above this new support
- To pump higher after this consolidation and reach $500
