Buying Crypto Can Be Tough

Why does buying crypto have to be so tough?

I set out today with the goal of buying some dogecoin. I think it will go up to $0.02 this coming week. Most of the major exchanges make it overly complicated to buy. I could exchange some bitcoin for it but I want to just buy it with USD instead of paying all the fees associated with the exchange.

I tried to use a couple different wallet/exchanges to buy some but I am still hitting a wall. I opened up a Kraken account and passed the verification but when I try to buy it says that I have not been verified. Frustrating to say the least. I started with the basic verification that says 1-2 minutes which of course took about 4 hours and now I am doing the intermediate verification which says 4-5 minutes but it has already been a half of an hour waiting.

I went to dogecoin to try and get set up with a wallet from them but they require me to use an old version of Java which I am unable to download to the Mac I am using. So....I am not using an old windows computer and trying to find a work around.

So, why does this have to be so tough?
