Brave is just one of the many, what you can call, new kids on block in the web 3.0 world, it is advertise as fast, private, high security and giving power back to the user, by letting them browser the web safer, with little or no ad pop ups, we will touch on the ad popups shortly, but they block all ads they deems harmful alone with tracker, also known as your internet footprints.
They claim to be faster than other browsers such as, Chrome, Safari, Firefox and I believe one of the creators came from Firefox, to develop something he seen as better but don’t quote me on that.
Are they faster, I really don’t know I haven't paid much attention to that, are they safer, I would say yes, with the amount of ads and tracker they block, how do I know they block ads and trackers, it’s a button at the top of the screen by the browser, that lets you see all of the things they block, sometimes you can't even do some things on websites because of the blocker, which is known as the Shield Blocker and you might think that’s a bad thing but in fact it’s a good thing because when you use, one of those websites and they block whatever they might be blocking, you then have the option to unblock the shields, if you really want to do that task or use that function of the site, that not only gives you the control over your web browsing but you then can ask yourself, does whatever need unblocking, worth unblocking and that is very well putting power into the users hands.
