On April 26, 2021, with a press release, the Hips company announced their first partnership with The Payment House company, which will bring for the Merchant token - MTO high utility.
With this partnership, the two companies intends to introduce cryptocurrency payments at real-time transaction speeds, and with consumer protection. Also, for the beginning, the Merchant token will be one of the two cryptocurrencies available to pay with, alongside USDC - USD Coin.
What is The Payment House and what it will bring?
In short and regarding this partnership with the Hips company, The Payment House is a leading payment processor for taxi companies in Scandinavia and United Kingdom. Therefore, according to the press release, the Merchant token will be used as one of the two tokens available to pay in approximately 30,000 taxis from Scandinavia and the UK.
