People are lazy and used to comfort, most pick a browser once and refuse or ignore the opportunity to change or switch browser. There are alot of factors to consider when choosing a browser, if choosing one at all. Safety, speed, privacy and customizability are all important and BRAVE excels in all four and offer extra benefits that I will be going over.

Security

Most people ask if Brave is as secure as Chrome, the opposite should however be asked. Brave makes greater strides towards keeping your information safe and keeping harmful websites at bay. The first itteration of Brave had some problems with security but after reviewing and improving their open source code the browser is now a alternative or even improvment for Chrome. Alot of the features that are being promoted as security features, also work at improving your privacy. The most common way for hackers and scammers to exploit users online is information, blocking the gathering of such information puts the hackers and scammers at a disadvantage. The most basic functions of Brave prevent scripts, trackers, cookies and similar harmful websites from affecting your browser. Brave also upgrades every connection it makes to HTTPS, this means that any information you do provide to the site you're visiting will be encrypted.

Privacy

This is an area that Brave excels at, only being rivaled by Firefox amongst the popular browsers. It's a standard function to block all cookies and scripts on every website. This can however cause some websites from not function properly. You can easily change these functions to allow some of your trusted website being able to use their usual scripts and cookies by simply pressing the lion next to your toolbar. The incognito mode for the browser even incorporates a VPN which means that even websites that keep a record of their visitors would have a harder time finding out who was visiting them. Brave doesn't collect any data that relates to their users which helps keeping the internet a safe place while using the browser.

Extensions

The best part about Brave, that sets it apart from it's closest high security & privacy competitor Firefox, is that it is increadibly similar to Chrome. In face anyone who's used to Chrome should have no issue switching over to Brave as it is based on the same engine, chromium. This also means that any browser extensions you're used to having in Chrome can be found within Brave. This helps making the migration easier when moving over to Chrome. You can customize and adapt the browser the same way you can with any of it's competitors.

Ads

A big problem plaguing the internet is the constant bombradment of ads. All ads on Brave are automatically blocked, this helps making website quicker and for you to save on any data you would be using. Instead of this, custom tailored Brave hosted ads are shown to the users. There's are less intrusive and helps advertisers to reach users that would actually be interested in their products. Brave users can choose how often and how frequently they'll be shown ads whenever they are using the browser. This help combat the problem with creators on the web being victim to intrusive ads that are trying despretly to reach an audiance, while consumers are unhappy seeing ads that are trying to increase their profits.

Rewards

Brave's most famous feature however is that it provides it's users with rewards. This is a combination with it's own ad program that helps improve the ads that users see on the web. Whenever an ad is shown to a user, both the user and advertiser are given a portion of BAT. This is a cryptocurrency that is unique to the Brave browser and they send out free tokens every month based on how many ads a user has seen or advertiser has shown. Creators can also get tips or donations in BAT which helps them keep their website running and also promoting the BAT ecosystem. This is not the most important part of Brave but helps promoting a healthy advetisment ecosystem as well as keeping users around. Sadly the only wallet supported for withdrawals for your BAT currently is Uphold. Uphold is a less than satisfactory solution but it is rumored that Gemini will be supported which should ease the withdrawal of any BAT.

Words of conclusion

Brave is a browser that improves on every aspect of it's main competitor Chrome. It's the herald of security and privacy of web browsers. Along with this it's an easy move and it also helps keep a healthy atmosphere of advertisment, most Brave users actually complain when they aren't getting any ads. The finishing touch is that the browser is alot less taxing on your computer than Chrome, requiring less Ram for each window that is kept open. Switching over to Brave is a no brainer, especially if you're active on the crypto scene.
