Have you had a chance to check out the banano coin? I am a sucker for small market caps coins that is community heavy. When it came to banano I was looking for a coin I could earn while folding or use bonic. Mining is just so wasteful and if I can but my hardware to work for something better I will.
On to folding or those that do not know what folding @ home is.
The Folding@home project (FAH) is dedicated to understanding protein folding, the diseases that result from protein misfolding and aggregation, and novel computational ways to develop new drugs in general.
Folding refers to the way human protein folds in the cells that make up your body. We rely on the proteins to keep us healthy and they assemble themselves by folding. But when they misfold, there can be serious consequences to a person’s health.

You can use your desktop GPU or CPU but the GPU is much better hardware to F@H and complete the WorkUnits. You can be helping with things like cancer, Alzheimer's,

On the 23rd I shut the miner down to do some updates on the desktop. I only got one payment that day it was only around 44 Ban. Today was a much better day with almost 600.

I was able to complete 155 WUs to make a total of 4,814,885 points. I need to get to around 25-26 million to place in top 35000 list. I think I can make this list in 6 months unless people starting earning way more.
I have been able to complete 15 WUs in 2 days that's a ok rate. I wouldn't mind hitting a few more. Maybe time to look for another GPU to help with WUs.
The avg day of folding with the 570 plus CPU. The CPU folding does not offer many points but the system sites idle most the time anyway. I am well on the way to 10000 bananos.
I am folding @ home for cancer, I am using the amd 570 that is not mining max all day but is pulling around 300000k points on a day I can let it do work units. I have set my self a goal to get 10000 banano by the end of August. I think this is a good target and will earn around $10 at the current rate.
