App Strike Global will boost Bitcoin transfers

The company Zap, sponsored by Visa, through its Fintech Fast Track program, announced the launch of Strike Global, an app to send and accept payments through the second layer Bitcoin blockchain

Strike Global looks a lot like traditional fintech apps, however it relies on the Lightning Network for payment settlement. It is characterized by the fact that the transactions are tremendously fast and for substantially reduced costs.

Strike Global presents two types of transfers, depending on the geographic location of the recipient. In countries that are heavily digitized at the banking level, transfers can be executed without the need to make a prior conversion to bitcoin. Strike simplifies all of this without having to do it manually. You send the money, Strike converts it to BTC, then to fiat money, and then sends it to the end user.

Countries that do not have as many updates or facilities can keep the money in the form of BTC or USD Tether. It can then be exchanged through ATMs or Localbitcoin.

It has recently been linked with Bittrex, one of the most relevant exchanges today for Strike users to have at hand the exchange of their assets for cryptocurrencies. This year it will launch its beta version and its strike card in the United States with a view to launching it later in the rest of the world.

Lightning Network is truly the future, companies will adapt it, such as Exodus, with the aim of reducing fees, commissions and speeding up payments without the need for long confirmations.
