Apologies to the Brave Community

I'm going to keep this post short and sweet - I want to apologize to the Brave/BAT community. I unfortunately let a convert slip through my grasp.

As so many of you know BRAVE is completely awesome. It has a built in reward system, ad blockers, cookie blockers, privacy protectors, a Tor browser on desktop, and so much more. For these reasons and their extreme contrast with browsers like Chrome, Brave is the right choice for me and so many others.

Now here's what I'm sorry for:

A couple of weeks ago my wife must have gotten tired of me mentioning how much I prefer Brave over Chrome, or maybe she was intrigued by the ad blocking features (I remember her being creeped out by an ad she saw related to some search she had made), but whatever the reason was, I finally convinced her to give Brave a try!

Fast forward to today, and she told me she uninstalled it because she didn't like the "boxes" that popped up. Of course I tried to reason with her and explained she can turn that feature off (I'm pretty sure she was talking about the ads on mobile), but it did not work.

I'm sorry to say that the population of the Brave community fell by 1 today. I wish I could have convinced her otherwise.

Maybe I'll be able to win her back over to the Brave side of the fence when she sees me withdraw my next batch of BAT!

Thanks for reading this unfortunate news! Have you convinced anyone outside the crypto community to give Brave a try? How did they like it?
