As usual, members of the Bitcoin community always have great things to say about the world’s number one cryptocurrency. Even when there’s a bear market, the bullishness almost always intensifies. Yesterday, Bitcoin broke through the $10,000 resistance level, a move that seemed to renew the community’s faith in the coin. This faith is so renewed that a forecast up to $100,000 has surfaced.
According to popular Bitcoin bull and Morgan Creek Digital partner and co-founder Anthony Pompliano, $100,000 is in Bitcoin’s future. However, that future might not come this year.
In a tweet after the $10k celebration, Pompliano said:
“Bitcoin just hit $10,000. I still think that Bitcoin will hit $100,000 by end of December 2021. Fixed supply. Increasing demand. Time will tell.”
Pompliano isn’t the only person that celebrated Bitcoin’s victory. BITMEX CEO and Co-Founder Arthur Hayes, is also quite bullish on the king coin. Just about 20 minutes after Pompliano’s tweet, Hayes added to the bullishness, expressing some excitement. His own prediction was however much lower than Pompliano’s but also probably much sooner than 2021. He wrote:
“Nothing can stop me, I’m all the way up! Slow and steady wins the race. Let’s take the staircase up to Bitcoin $20k.”
The $10,000 mark was not just a 2020 high but also the highest level since October 2019. Even though the king coin has now corrected, a rally to $10,500 is very likely.
