ETERBASE, a European-based cryptocurrency exchange, was attacked by hackers last night and took away a significant amount of cryptocurrency.
According to a recent announcement, ETERBASE said their hot wallet has been compromised by hackers and stolen many cryptocurrencies.
“Taking advantage of the security breach, hackers accessed our hot wallet last night, many cryptocurrencies were stolen from the wallet. We apologize for this issue and expect investors to wait patiently when we resolve it, ”said ETERBASE representative.
Although ETERBASE did not disclose the specific amount lost in the hack, according to estimates by The Block Research, the amount of the damage is definitely not less than 5 million USD.

ETERBASE said it reached out to "all centralized exchanges to coordinate the investigation and stop the cryptocurrency from circulating."
