A "Blind Man's Vision"... The Best Time To Be Alive, But The Worst To Be a Maximalist

Do repost and rate:

I was looking today at the "herds of teenagers" that are on vacation around here and was recalling on my younger years and somehow was noticing a bit of envy arising towards them. What a time to be alive and what an era of abundance is opening up for us.

I can't call myself old, I'm only 35 after all, but I realize my teenage years have long time left me. We didn't had much tech back then and online games, tons of pirated music and pornography was the most one could have using a PC.

Now PCs are almost obsolete and probably sooner than later, the laptop I'm currently using will turn into a relic as well. You simply can't stand against technology's evolutionary march and it would be such a pity to do so. We take much of the shit we have around nowadays for granted though.

Kids do that even more, but it's amazing to see how many of the teenagers I was noticing today around me were soaked up by social media. They all had something to show off with in their tiny virtual worlds. I bet none was using Hive though and I truly regret not branding myself a couple of t-shirts with the Hive and Leofinance logo to show of with on the streets.

I'm a Hive maximalist and probably 99% of the Hive users are falling into the same category. We have tons of reasons to become maxis, this product is a hell of a working one, it's quite scalable, hosts a plethora of apps that cover plenty of tastes and needs when it comes to social media and "the blockchain revolution" and it's the most rewarding online activity I've tasted so far.

I don't particularly like maxis though, especially the Bitcoin ones who fanatically stack sats and see nothing else but Bitcoin when it comes to crypto. It's no longer only about Bitcoin, and chances are that in a few years from now, the old dog might loose the no.1 spot on coinmarketcap.

I don't like Ethereum fanatics either, Cardano is already on its ass and sooner than later it will become a viable alternative to "the blockchain for everything". Hive is also becoming an alternative, it just lacks marketing.

The world of crypto is not only gonna be a core ingredient of the metaverse, but it's living proof that maximalism is not healthy at all. There's no competition in crypto actually, it's only layers upon layers of a world that's somehow "auto-creating" itself. I don't get the idea of "my blockchain is better than yours".

Some are pure garbage, for sure, but in the end they're all contributing to the living organism that crypto is becoming. Same thing applies to Hive. We can't say that one user is more important than other, we're all vital to the ecosystem.

Ten to fifteen years from now, when we'll look at the current times shaping the history of blockchain technology and the maximalism we can see around, we're gonna laugh at it. The whole crypto industry is a whole different environment than it used to be four years ago. Hive is totally different than what we had one year ago.

Leofinance is a mad dog...

Many of our maximalistic types of conceptions regarding blockchain technology and the crypto markets are gonna get washed away in the years to come. We probably won't even have a four year cycle anymore, but rather a continuously expanding crypto universe that was written in the book of "the era of abundance", credit to @taskmaster4450 for this concept.

Have I said it too often lately?... I'll say it again: I love crypto and I want to do this for my whole life. Happily celebrating my "teenage years in crypto" and proud for not being a maxi...

Adrian
