73% of dollar millionaires reported that they have already invested in cryptocurrency, including bitcoin, or will transfer part of their capital to it by the end of 2022. These results were obtained by the investment deVere Group, having conducted a survey among 700 investors with capital of 1 million British pounds ($ 1.3 million), reports Cointelegraph.
The head of deVere Group, Nigel Green, said the results confirm the growing awareness among large investors of the value of digital assets. They probably realize that cryptocurrency will play an ever larger role in the future of money and do not want to stay in the past.
Greene added that the trend towards cryptocurrency recognition as a new asset class is supported by examples from companies like Square and PayPal. The first one invested $ 50 million in bitcoin in early October. The second added support for digital assets, now American users of the payment system can buy, sell and store Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash and pay with them in 26 million stores.
