Deeping My Toes In FireFaucet

Hi community!

New year, new resolution. You know that mine is to stack even more sats than before. I'm all in with COINTIPLY and Coinpot, and they keep my hands very full. If you really want to make the most of your time raking sats left and right, claiming faucets are frankly not how you will build up your stash. Surveys and offers is where the money is.

Even if you could continuously claim a faucet for 10 satoshi every minute, it would only mount to 600 satoshi per hour - and that would be considered a very good faucet in 2021 with Bitcoin's price over $40,000 (at time of writing). But unlike surveys and offers, faucet claims usually take only a few seconds, can be done anytime, anywhere, and without the need to demographically qualify first.

Between Cointiply and Coinpot faucets, I found myself waiting for faucet claims lately. Mostly because the payout rate has become so low that the wait time between claims (especially with Coinpot faucets) is getting longer. So, I was in the search of a new faucet to potentially add to my arsenal. I also very know that starting a new faucet will inevitably take time to build up some loyalty/experience and get to a more significant claim rate.

The new faucet I have started using about 2 weeks ago is FireFaucet.

FireFaucet First Impressions

At first glance, FireFaucet is rather slick, easy to use and, like Cointiply, the dark mode is a much appreciated little touch. First things first, you can chose, mix and match, which crypto you want to collect in. FireFacuet carries the usual suspects plus others no necessarily found in all faucets. Personally, I'm only interested in Bitcoin.

Similarly to other faucets, you have a wide range of options to collect your crypto - faucet, PTC adds, shortlinks, surveys and other offers. What you earn from all of these activities is Auto Claim Points (ACP), not crypto (or $) directly. You'll need to activate the auto claim faucet to actually collect money. As stated in the FAQ and other places on the website, all your crypto are hosted in $ until you actually transfer them to a wallet. Which mean the value will go up and down according to exchange rate.

In addition to ACP, you also earn some Activity Points which are the FireFaucet experience points allowing you to level up and thus access more perks and rewards, most notably a better claim rate from the Auto Faucet. Here is my current profile.

In the beginning, and at my current level, claims and reward are standard compared to other faucets and, unsurprisingly, low given I just started. At the moment, I'm just exploring the site and its different options, just to see what can be done and for what reward.

Given my levels, experience, bonuses and faucet loyalty bonus with Cointiply and Coinpot, I'm making much more with these two. My goal with FireFaucet for now is to see if this can be worthwhile as an extra faucet in the long run. Surveys will always outpace any free claims/PTC and there's plenty enough surveys available from on given site. However I found myself with a few minutes to spare here and there and with all claims done with Cointiply and Coinpot faucets. Once I reach a decent level, I just want to see if FireFaucet is worth the shot.

FireFaucet Auto Claim System

The Auto Claim system is what make FireFaucet different and, somehow, intriguing. I have read a few reviews and articles about and everyone seem to enjoy that feature. I don't know why, because to be frank, this actually worth that any other system - You have to take an extra step or two to get paid.

Any click, claim, survey or action you take on FireFacuet doesn't lead to a direct reward in coins, $ or crypto. You only gain ACP, that have to be then used with the Auto Faucet for optimal rate, or, that can be converted instantly to the crypto of your choice but giving up a 5% fee conversion rate. The point is, it requires an extra action on your part to get your rewards. I get the marketing stunt, but besides that...

Whenever you feel like it you can auto claim and redeem your ACPs. Here are the current rate (as of writing, and it's been moving quiet a lot lately).

You can boost your earning rate to 4x, meaning you convert ACP to sats 4x faster for 4x the sats. I guess if you are a big FireFaucet user you may have more ACP to burn that you can convert. That's not my case yet for sure, and because of that I would only recommend to auto claim during the "Happy Hours". Saturdays and Sundays, 2am and 2pm UTC, auto claims give 50% more. Right now I'm just accumulating ACP and use them on the weekend. I'm far from generating too much ACP anyway.

This is the auto claim tab. At 4x, you burn 400 ACPs every minute to collect satoshi.

To Conclude...

Overall, FireFaucet may be worth the shot as a complement for me. Things are likely to get better at higher levels as you get a higher "bonus/multiplier" (not sure exactly what this does) and you get free Satoshi along the way.

However my progress will be slow as it would not make a lot of sense to dedicate more time into something that is fundamentally paying me much less than what I can earn with Cointiply and Coinpot.

Once I get to higher levels, I'll try to compare the faucets I'm using for the "click value", because, for sure, nothing will ever beat completing surveys in terms of Satoshi per hour.

Thanks for reading! Anyone on FireFaucet yet? Any additional tips or comments to share?
