Near the end of the summer of 2022, they will organize their third Alpha Season. Anybody can play for 10 weeks, but earnings mechanics are only available to those holding certain NFTs.

The Sandbox also allows you to purchase assets like clothes and accessories to make your Avatar look the way you want.

What’s next in The Sandbox Alpha
In order to promote the creations and gameplay in the metaverse, The Sandbox created public events called Alpha. The first Alpha season took place in December 2021, the second in March 2022, and the third and biggest of all will take place this summer.
Each season brought news to gameplay and partnerships with major brands and celebrities. So Alpha season 3, although there is no launch date announced yet, is setting high expectations. The metaverse announced that there will be plenty of new content and new earn mechanics for its community.
The Alpha Season 3 will be a 10-week event open to everyone, with over 90 gaming experiences created by players, brands, and studios. To join, you must register for free and level up to win one of the 10,000 Alpha Passes – with a chance to earn up to 500 SAND reaching level 5, with extra rewards for players holding Land, Avatars, or NFTs.
