The public cannabis company Farmhouse announced this week a partnership that will take hold of the Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) NFT #30000 image for a new web3 branded project. This exclusive licensing deal with NFT ‘Mega Robot’ will open doors for connecting the MAYC and WeedClub® Platform communities.
Yet another example of real businesses jumping into the exciting world of decentralized applications.
“Our licensing deal with ‘Mega Robot’ firmly places Farmhouse as the connector for cannabis brands and NFT holders. Cannabis brands now have the opportunity to license one of the most iconic Mutant Apes and connect with one of the most prestigious brands in web3,” said Evan Horowitz, CEO of Farmhouse, in the official press release.

This isn’t Farmhouse’s first experience with NFTs. WeedClub, Farmhouse’s division and B2B network for the cannabis industry in the US, has been collecting deals since June.
According to the PR, their licensing portfolio includes Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, Doodles, and more.
The company has placed its Bored Ape on multiple cannabis products and real-life and virtual events.
This latest announcement also reveals that the company is working on new ways to reward anyone who supports their projects from the start.

As the Twitter thread pointed out, once licensing division is still early, the project will be working with a small group of holders before opening doors to the public.

Just like its successful predecessor, BAYC, in the Mutant Apes collection, NFT owners have licenses to use digital art in various capacities.
If you own a MAYC NFT, you can exploit its properties commercially however you like, as long as it doesn’t hurt the project’s terms and conditions.
So whether in product prints, songs, or video clips, the owner of ‘Mega Robot’ is free to partner with Farmhouse and use his investment for their own benefit.
