For the past couple of weeks, the NFT space had not recorded a sale above one million dollars, but this week’s Top 10 NFT sales break the pattern. CryptoPunk #8865 and Azuki #9605 switched owners in transactions worth over $1.4 million each.
CloneX, Art Blocks, and Bored Ape Yacht Club complete the chart with impressive sales in the past seven days. Notably, the increased value of NFT sales is partly due to the increase in ETH’s valuation. The token gained over 5% in price in the past seven days, effectively boosting the value of collections built on the Ethereum blockchain.

Azuki and CloneX join the big league
Azuki and CloneX are both on the list of rising stars in the past several months. The collections have managed to grab the attention of the NFT community and prominent collectors, which effectively pushes their floor price. Recently, both Azuki and CloneX made it to the coveted list of NFT projects with floor prices above 20 ETH.
The lowest sale price for an Azuki NFT is 27.8 EHT, or about $97,270. CloneX follows closely behind with a floor price of 20.5 ETH, or about $$71,730. Importantly, the list of collections with floor prices above 20 ETH is not long. Currently, it consists of only six projects, including BAYC, MAYC, CryptoPunks, and CyberKongz Genesis.
Аzuki launched on January 12th, 2022, and generated over $112 million in trading volume in just the first 2 weeks after launch. DappRadar covered the collection early on, placing it as one of the three new dapps to follow in this New Dapps Report from January 27th. In just a couple of months, Azuki has climbed to the top of the NFT hierarchy, attracting million-dollar sales like Azuki #9605, which switched owners for $1.42 million last week.
CloneX has followed much the same trajectory. The collection launched in late November 2021 and has since become a staple. Last week, CloneX attracted two top-grossing sales. CloneX #1427 switched owners for $697,340, while CloneX #19042 generated a $645,920 transaction. Azuki and CloneX have generated a combined trading volume of more than $24 million in the past seven days alone. The collections rank in 8th and 9th place in the DappRadar Top NFT Collections. This is no small feat for projects that have only been live for several months.
