?????Hello Farmers! Thank you to all that participated in the Creativity Competition “Halloween Edition”. We received hundreds of high quality submissions and picked out 50 winners who received a total of $13,000 in FARM. It was evident that we have some very skillful and creative farmers amongst us.
?? Submissions came in all shapes and sizes including awesome costumes, crazy carvings, catchy songs, funny memes, interesting games, creative artwork and many other amazing entries! The calibre of submissions was very high and we had a hard time narrowing it down to just 50 winners.
?? We truly have an awesome community here at Harvest and the team has thoroughly enjoyed going through submissions from the past two competitions. We want to continue to build the Harvest community and reward engaged and creative farmers!
?? We’re sure you’re all eagerly waiting for the next round to begin! So without further ado: The Harvest Creativity Contest “Surviving a Harsh Winter on the Farm” begins.
?? As the title suggests, our theme for this iteration will center around “Resiliency, Staying Strong, Cooperating With Each Other and Moving Forward Together. It has been a challenging 2 weeks for Harvest but it’s how we responded to those challenges that make us such a strong project/community.
?? Although the Harvest Finance rocketship took a detour after passing $1 Billion Deposits, due to the malicious act of a sneaky exploiter, we’re still very much functioning. Critical systems have been triple-checked, and are safer than ever. So now we’re gazing up towards the stars once more and getting ready to launch ourselves to even greater heights.
We will continue to develop cutting-edge strategies, grow our TVL and #dohardwork for our farmers.

??Prizes
The prize format will be the same as previous creativity contests. They are as follows :
?? 1st Place — $1,500 in FARM tokens
?? 2nd Place — $1,200 in FARM tokens
?? 3rd Place — $800 in FARM tokens
?? 4th and 5th place — $600 in FARM tokens
?? 6th through 10th — $450 in FARM tokens
?? 11th through 20th — $300 in FARM tokens
?? 21st through 50th place all receive $100 in FARM tokens.
?How to submit your entries:
- Entries to be made only through Twitter. Post your work with the hashtag #BreadForThePeople, #Defi and tag @harvest_finance. We only care about the quality of what you have produced. The number of followers, likes or retweets makes no difference!
- Submissions close on the 23rd of November at 1pm UTC time.
- At that time the team will dive into all the submissions and pick the 50 winners.
- Winners will be announced by the end of November.

Welcome to the first iteration of the Harvest.Finance Developer Contest!

To begin with, we are starting small; a free-form approach to a hackathon. This first stage is a way for developers in the Harvest community to showcase their skills - earning sweet FARM rewards in the process.
With the Farmhands working flat-out in the workshop, tweaking the tractors and securing the storehouses, many smaller jobs around the Farm are not being done. So we decided to utilise the brilliant brains and dedicated community that has cropped up at Harvest, from all across the DeFi fields.
What to build?
We feel that there are plenty of developers and designers who can professionalize some of our existing community tooling. Rather than give specific tasks for this first iteration of the Developer Contest, we have opted to allow a laissez-faire approach, with some minor guidelines below:
- Dashboard improvements
- Protocol improvement designs
- Monitoring tools
- Community content
- UX, UI etc.
- Data Analysis tools
- Dapps
- Bots

The Developer Contest will run from November 9th until November 23rd 1pm UTC. Winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
