Ethereum’s Ratio Spikes Against Bitcoin

Everything is ready to go for the launch of the ethereum 2.0 testnet in now minutes not hours.
The final stage of the genesis block launch is to begin, with it unlikely there will be a show, but there will be things.
Some of them are new things. Like there are ‘epochs’ now. We’ve read about what they are, but finally we’ll get to see them in action.
The show begins at 2PM London time, and you can watch it on the Beaconcha.in explorer which currently has a nice countdown.
It also has a nice slots page, which is a new name for blocks. And then the epochs, which is a grouping of these slots/blocks.
There’s also a stats page, but there probably won’t be anything on it any time soon, with the show probably beginning on the slots page.
Check both slots and epochs however, and for 22,424 stakers risking their 717,568 testnet eth, also check your node clients and see if everything is good to go.
If it isn’t, Danny Ryan, the ethereum 2.0 coordinator, stated there is now an ethstaker subreddit and discord server and he is on the discord one apparently so you’ll get top notch ethereum 2.0 support.
That’s it now. Bit too early for champaign here in Europe and in America it’s not even breakfast yet, but you can get some lemonade while China is currently on that very sweet 8PM spot when they can very enjoy the minutes not hours waiting.
