Binance Launchpool added farming options for Bitcoin Standard Hashrate Token (BTCST)

Yesterday was "Red Monday", and after weeks of surge the prices went down. If you check the monthly charts, it wasn't so bad!

Even if FAN tokens and Reef Finance can still be farmed, the BINANCE Launchpool added the 15th project. The Bitcoin Standard Hashrate Token (BTCST) is a token collateralized by Bitcoin hashrate on the Binance Smart Chain. There are 21 pools where users can farm various tokens.

From 8th of January, users can stake Binance Coin (BNB), Binance USD and obviously Bitcoin (BTC) to farm BTSCT. Every pool will have separate APY and rewards, and the farming will end on the 6th of February. Bitcoin Standard Hashrate Token (BTCST) will be listed into the Innovation Zone on the 13th of January, with Bitcoin, Binance USD and Tether pairings.

Bitcoin Standard Hashrate Token (BTCST) doesn't have a total token supply as the total AUM of will determines the total supply of the token. The Initial Circulating Supply will be 1,000,000 tokens and Binance Launchpool will distribute 4% of it, 40,000 BTCST, through the three farming pools.   From the total distribution, 60% (24,000 tokens) are allocated to the Binance Coin (BNB) pool, and 30% (12,000 tokens) to the Bitcoin (BTC) pool. The last 10% (4000 tokens) will be farmed in the Binance USD pool. The farming reward is higher until BTCST will be added into the Innovation Zone on the 13th of January. Until then, 5,000 tokens will be rewarded daily, dropping to 416.67 after the listing. The reward will be calculated hourly, and it can be left to accumulate. The staked assets and any unclaimed rewards will be automatically transferred to the Spot Wallet at the end of each farming period.

I added my Binace Coin  (BNB) during the preparation period, to start farming Bitcoin Standard Hashrate Token (BTCST) immediately after the pool goes live. I plan to keep the BNB in there until 13th of January, because after that, the daily reward drops from 5000 to only 416.67 tokens per day.

Took me a day to farm x, so the amount that I will own from this campaign will be quite low. Depends how expensive the token will be after listing and how easy will be to stake Bitcoin Standard Hashrate Token (BTCST) to get Bitcoin (BTC). I will consider both aspects before keeping or dusting in Binance Coin (BNB). Happy farming!
