The official commercial arm of Cardano blockchain technology, Emurgo, which focuses on driving adoption for Cardano as well as add value to ADA holders, has declared the initiation of new merchants that have their support for ADA token in the province of Japan.
According to a release published by the Japan based company, a particular hotel and restaurant have declared allegiance for Cardano blockchain by accepting its token ADA as payment option.
Emurgo mentioned that the 4.1 Star hotel and restaurant, according to Google review, known as Hotel Palms Royal and Pine Tree Bless, confirmed their support for ADA and Cardano’s third-generation blockchain technology.
The two merchants are located on the Okinawa island of Japan – a popular island for tourist. Their support for the blockchain was birthed by the transformation the nascent technology has introduced into the finance world.
Hotel Palm Royal believes that ADA and blockchain technology are the future of payment and the usage of digital assets or cryptocurrencies will soon become a mundane in our everyday lives.
While being continuously impressed by the works and vision of cofounder Charles Hoskinson, Hotel Palm Royal averred that it would be using the solution offered by Cardano to stand out among other hotel facilities.
The restaurant which also offers the services of a bar, Pine Tree Bless, said the move to accept ADA as payment option became necessary on its path after it realised that blockchain based cashless payment is the next wave of the future.
Pine Tree Bless addressed the revolution introduced into the world via internet, stating that blockchain will also work in the same capacity if not beyond. Blockchain cashless payment is gaining traction across the globe and people are really appreciating the solution, the restaurant added.
Previously, Today’s Gazette reported that Emurgo ushered the acceptance of ADA as payment option by a Japanese Yakiniku franchise restaurant, Tamura.
Emurgo has now stated that it also owe Mr. Miyatake, an ardent leader of the Japanese Cardano community, a big appreciation for the part he took in the latest development.
EMURGO concluded that it will continue to orchestrate the advocacy of Cardano blockchain technology towards the mainstream adoption of the cryptographic project.
